According to knowledgeable sources, originals were issued for AKMSL, AKML, AKML/C,  AKML/AKMN and RPKN night-vision equipped Kalashnikov.

High quality American steel,  Black oxide coated to resist rust.  Can be refinished with different coating by customer.
