AR-9mm 1/2-36 5" Slip-over Flash Hider gives your gun the appearance of having a shorter barrel. Hider is made to slip over a .740 diameter or smaller barrel.

When installed there is approximately 1" of the flash hider forward of the end of the barrel. The blank area is over the barrel itself.

(Crush washer NOT recommended.)

This brake gave me the o
look I desired. I used an extended length rifle handguard and this brake went back inside it about 4 inches, completely covering my stainless barrel and giving me a nice robust bulldog appearance. The only improvement I could suggest is the wrench flats for tightening it need to be about twice as wide to get a good grip on it with a wrench. Alternatively one could use loctite to secure the brake, but I prefer the crush washer and torque method.

I have been looking for a 5'' slipover flash hider for my colt 9mm AR-15 for a while. I jumped when I saw this was finally available.The fit and finish is excellent.IT threaded on and tightened down perfectly. I am very happy with the quality of this product. One of the big selling points for me was that it's MADE IN THE USA!Good job on this product guys!I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for the short barrel look on their 9mm AR-15.
